If u dont want to be bothered while online such as I M'd and such HOW DO I STAY HIDDEN? esp.when I Ming?

need to keep from being interrupted while i am I M ING thought i had checked of f hide me but it seemed someone was able to know i was I Ming on yahoo. what is the full correct procedure to assure that one can remain "out of sight" while on line ....?am i doing it correctly?

I think you're in the wrong section to get many answers about this! (But, I know that Yahoo Products rarely answers...so you might not get answers on there either.) I think you ought to try the one that deals with Messaging. You might have to go to "Help" and get in touch with the Big Guys.Too bad they don't have an 800 number we can call. But if you can find them...they will talk to you on IM and maybe help you..even though they didn't really help me.Good Luck!

Edit..Go to Help at the top of your main page..then to Contact Us. I think they tell you what to do to get in touch with them.

if you go to the top of your page, on your email page..it will say  "available..click on that, you can set it to busy, or invisible..then no one knows your on line...its right next to your user name, and account and sign out...
