  1. the rule of citizenship is based on the ships country of origin, what country's flag is it sailing under.

  2. ok look

the atlantic and the pacific are two different oceans separated by north america and south america how would you be on a ship on land! you have to be in one ocean

the parents citizenship would transfer to the baby anyways or the baby could have a dual citizenship

look at a map and don't say stupid things (jus kidding)

but seriously you need to do a little more work on your geography

  3. citizenship of parents would prevail

  4. Atlantis !!!  seriously though, i think it would depend on whose waters you're in !!!  if yer in international waters maybe you can choose !!!  hee hee .......not sure really !!!  that can keep you awake at night !!! I'm sure the U.S will try and claim it too, they have some more wars to wage yet !!!  hey wait a minute i cannae have babies !!!

  5. Greetings!  Okay, so a mother is on a ship and is crossing through the Cape Horn, and while the ship is crossing from the Atlantic to the Pacific, she has her baby.  The citizenship of the child is based upon the citizenship of the parents.  If the woman is single, the citizenship would fall under to the mother.

It slips my mind, but I believe that we have had a President born out of the country, but because both of his parents were Americans, he was declared to be American.  This question came up during his election (I can't remember the President's name at the moment).

    Hope this helps.   Take care.

  6. If it's in the middle of the ocean, then it would be the citizenship of the parents. However, if you were within 200 miles of the coast, then you would be in some country's waters and they would be citizens of that country.
