Question:

If u have 2 yrs on parole & pay year & half then violate by leaving state how much time do u have to back up?

on parole for shoplifting first offense paid for 1 and half years left mississippi to alabama no other charges just leaving state do u have to do the entire 2 years in prison, or can u pay the rest of the months owed on parole and be set free

  1. Hello David. Unfortunately, parole ( or probation) is a system that allows you be "free" on the street under supervision. If you violate yourself all the way up to the last day of your parole, full sentence would be reinstated. You dont get credit for the time you were out. The entire purpose is to see how well a person can exist under strict rules and regulations, so time out is not something that is granted.
