  1. if you live in the uk go to sna stock snow.you;ll find evrything you need there

  2. don't think you'll get new at that price dude. Try ebay for a good used board - but you get what you pay for.

burton go on weight to recommend a board - for a 147 freeride you need to be 90 - 140 lbs.

  3. I have been snowboarding for 7 years and i ride a Forum Youngblood and its a great board but i woould also recommend a Rome Artifact that is a really really good board

  4. First off, if you're going to ride a 147, you need to be somewhere around 90 pounds.

Now, I highly doubt you can find a new Burton board for under $250.  You can try eBay or Craigslist though, I've found some great deals there.  Also, I don't know if you're a beginner or what, but if you don't have bindings yet, you'll have to get those also, which cost an extra $100 at least.  Same goes for boots.

If you do need the board, bindings, and boots, the cheapest you'll find a burton package for is probably around $400 if you're lucky(which is a great deal).  If you just need a board, you will probably be able to find a new burton on eBay for $250, like a Clash.

Don't forget though, you don't have to have a Burton.  There are plenty of other good board companies out there that you should check out also.  Just make sure to do your research.
