If u post a comment on somebodys video and they reply....?

if u post a comment of somebodys video on youtube and u get an e-mail from youtube service saying that that person replied 2 ur comment does that mean the other person knows ur e-mail????? OR if the other person replied 2 ur comment and then youtube sent their comment to ur e-mail does that mean only youtube knows ur e-mail????? PLEASE I NEED A ANSWER!!!! I'M DESPERATE!!!

  1. only youtube knows your email they dont give out that information to other users =)
