I not sure if this person has a virus or not. But he wants me to bring my PS2 over and hook it up so he can play on-line. Would my PS2 become damaged if he has a virus?

  1. No it won't. You are only using the ethernet cable which gives you a 100% strong internet connection. No files can be transferred etc to your PS2

  2. Viruses are written for a specific platform.  They are software just like anything else you use on a computer or a PS2.  Those programs aren't interchangeable and you cannot play the same piece of software on a computer and a PS2.

    In other words, you're safe.
