Its obvious that he is not an every down, between the tackles bruiser. But if I were a coach, I would want him on the field more often than just a third down back. How would u use him?

  1. i would spread him out on most downs, but put him in the backfield on third downs.

splitting him out would create a match up problem somewhere, probably for a slower linebacker, or give a WR that would normally be double covered more space.

keeping him in the backfield most downs and running him outside wouldn't be that effective. he's very fast, but faster when not fatigued. not to mention that most NFL players may not be as fast as bush, but are fast enough to contain him.

  2. Swing passes, pitches, and WR.

judging from tonight's game against the  cardinals He cant even get out the backfield for a 2 yrd gain.

He's showing happy feet at the scrimage line.

  3. you'd have to run a two back set because he's too inconsistent.  size has nothing ti do with it,  look at warrick dunn.  he needs to do alot of motion to throw off the d

  4. in screen plays, play action pass plays, sweeps, and toss plays but definately not between the tackles. He is no Deuce Macallaster... I would just use him on special plays every now and again as an outside threat but he is no every down back for sure...

  5. WR. he's a great WR

  6. i would play him as a slot reviever and play him at running back every 4 plays and when hes in i would just call plays like 38 pitches and like 35s...

  7. Saints are my hometeam and honestly, Reggie is overrated. When the pressure is on, he tends to break down and loose it. Not only that, but because of his fame, the team they're playing puts extra effort on him all the time. He's rarely open for anything. Then, if you remember, he's had a couple injuries that the coaches are worried about. They play him during certain times but not at others so that he doesn't reinjure himself. Lots of reasons for it but honestly, I would let his hype go down so that the defense can concentrate on someone else then maybe he'll shine again.

  8. not much he is terrible compaired to marion barber peterson and LT

  9. i would have reggie as my every down back. he is just having a hard time breaking into the NFL, h**l get readjusted this season and live up to the hype, as long as he keeps bouncing to the outside

  10. I would have him as the main RB.  The guy has speed, you dont have to have power to be a good RB.  He can break tackles and he is quick.  McCalister should be a 3rd down back.  Also, you can use Bush in the slot and have him on a swing pass.  That would be a great idea.

  11. I would move him around on every play  from backfield ot line and vice versa or just have him running along the line of scrimmage.....maybe run 5-8 times a game and catch 10-12 passes a game

I dont think you can play him as a traditional back

  12. Ok, as a coach you have to be able to identify a players weaknesses and strengths, and Reggie Bush's strengths are readily obvious: He's fast, he's quick and also he possesses great speed, not to mention he's freakin fast. Oh, did I mention he's fast? His weaknesses? He can't run between the tackles, he doesn't have good vision on the inside and he shies away from contact. If I were coaching Reggie, I'd want to split him out as a wideout half the time, and the other half the time put him in the backfield, use him for trick plays and short dumps. Pitch him the ball, run screen passes, even direct snap it but make sure he's getting the ball IN SPACE. He is the kind of player who has to have space to do his thing, and if he's not getting it he doesn't hit those homers, the long runs and big plays. Reggie needs a set of plays taylor made just for his abilities, plays where he will have the space he needs to get the afterburners going, and that boy has some afterburners on him, lemme tell ya...
