If u won the lottery would u keep it?

this old man won the California lottery but he said he didnt want it because "he didnt need it" he was old already but not thaaat old. why the h**l would he play then? would any of u reject it?

Maybe he just needed somthing to do. I mean who ever thinks they will really win anyways? I personally would keep most of it and donate some to charity, maybe open a homeless shelter...Make a place for little kids to hang out and learn how to play sprts, instruments, better reading and vocabulary. I would also like have classes for parents who can not speak English at all or the ones who speak very little. My dad can barely speak or write in English and its hard to see an adult have to have a child  read a letter for them...But with the money I kept...I would buy a moorcycle for me, my brother, and my sister. I would buy my mom a house and a new truck....hmmm and I would get me like two 1967 Mustangs and fix them up with all original pieces. I would also get like a 2009 Mustang...I love Mustangs. So yeah, thats what I would do. What would you do?

i personally wouldn't keep it, but again i would never play lottery, easy money is tasteless, u either lose it too fast or it destroys u...

what's the point of playing if you're not going to keep it?  If you really wanted to help charities by giving money away, then you would be giving money to charities in the first place- not blowing money on a longshot chance of getting rich.

Of course I'd keep it! I'd probably donate a lot of it, but I wouldn't just throw it down the tubes. If he didn't need it then he could have taken it and given to people who did need it because I bet the lottery people wouldn't have. Was his dementia bad that day? No offense to old people, but that's just dumb.

Sure I'd keep it. Of course, it depends on 'when' I get it. There's no fun in winning the lottery if you're like 90 years old. You've got to win when you can enjoy the winnings.
