If under 21, do you or your friends own a radio?

Sounds like a ridiculous question to answer but there was a survey that came out recently saying that for those under 21, only 1 in 20 people own a radio....mainly because people in that age bracket use digital media players (such as an iPod) or listen to music online instead.

So to that, if you are under 21, do you have an actual radio? Do your friends have a radio?

Can i vote for my little bro?  h**l we both still play records and cassettes (ipods too, but those dont make for impressive shelf filling collections).  He's 20.  He's an AM fanatic.

oh and my ipod dock does the radio

and my alarm clock has radio

i think that survey is a liar....

Yes, my stereo has a radio, and i listen to it sometimes.

oh yeah!!! i have a radio that i listen to all the time, even though i have an iPod. thats how i find new music, because you can't really get anything new out of an iPod. all my friends have radios too, for most of the same reasons.

yea i own a radio... a few too

but also many IPODs have radios in it so i dont know if they count that as a radio thing.

know a few people under 21 and they listen to radio but not as much as say Gen X and older Ys (most are ripping off the net for cds or loading the mp3 player)

From what I've seen and read... apparently the more rural you are the more chance the local radio station is more part of your life than the mp3 player for instance
