Technically the most unsafe, unroad worthy car ever designed is safer than a motorcycle, so why are they aloud on the road?

  1. Yes good question.

If Aspirins were new, it would have so many side affects that it would NOT pass the modern medical human testing.

So much of it has to do with allowing tradition.

    Good Luck...

P.S.  The next person doesn't make sense.  Wearing a seat belt only helps or hurt the person who choose to do so.  So it should be a choice not a law - using his logic.  AND motorcycles are very unstable (compared to cars) and OFTEN hurt the innocent bystanders.

P.P.S.  I ride motorcycles. So I'm not against it.

  2. Because in the United States we have the right to choose, the motorcycle is only unsafe to the person riding it not the other people on the road, therefore the choice is that of the person riding it.

  3. If they got rid of bikes, bikers would be prettyyy pissed,

    and we dont want that...

  4. motorcycles also have to pass an inspection for general equipment.like turn signals and lights. tires, breaks and hand holds. as long as they pass they have as much right as you to be on the road. you imply that bikes are unsafe. they are only unsafe if your rider is inexperienced or stupid. JUST like a car driver. more bikes have accidents caused by car pulling out in front of the bike than them just wreaking. drivers don't see them or miss judge the speed that the are coming. I have personally investigated over 200 traffic accident and have seen the root causes of them. PEOPLE NEED TO PAY ATTENDTION WHILE DRIVING. if you do that simply thing, we all can share the road.

  5. im guessing you dont like bikes.. and depending on the state they have to pass a test also and really they been a round as long as cars have.. and there is more people killed walking than riding a bike
