No, it wont. Only if your in the center of the war zone and your isp cut their services. Of course you have to specifically say which part because mindanao is a very large place.

Both protagonists need the Net to communicate, not only with their superiors and supporters, but to watch the Olympics as well.

I think they have standing orders on both sides to shoot the first soldier who severs any DSL line!

Sabotage is always a likely ploy of protagonists.  Disruption of communication is an effective weapon during war times.  But the government relies heavily on communication, more so during conflicts so I'm sure installations that power the internet highway are already well-guarded and back-ups are already in place.

But don't dwell on the doom and gloom.  The peace train is coming very soon.  God bless the good people of Mindanao.

I don't think so.  Well, I hope not otherwise my business would suffer greatly.  But what I'd like to hope and pray for is that fighting in Mindanao stops...not tomorrow but now, today.
