If we all got nuked on earth and then everyone died?

what would happen to the world wide web? does it just float around space, or is everything to do with the internet kept in a massive memory bank?

Nothing . The computers and some electricity generators are still running. Clocks of PC will keep running until it's battery is empty ; A survivor will just find rubble everywhere and few stuff that could still be working . The generators will stop oneday and not anyone can fix them + I think that the best solution for energy is the sun energy .

The electromagnetic Impulse or EMP would destroy all the data,along with all types of motor coils and anything electronic. The web would not exist. Anyway, no one would be there to care.
