, Honda has just released their first Hydrogen car (FCX Clarity).

"The FCX Clarity is a next-generation, zero-emissions, hydrogen-powered fuel cell vehicle based on the entirely-new Honda V Flow fuel cell platform, and powered by the highly compact, efficient and powerful Honda V Flow fuel cell stack."

It definitely has potential for "future car technology". In fact Honda just gave the first Individual Customer from Las Angeles a 2 year lease on the FCX.

  2. The U.S. auto industry has been deeply subsidized for quite some time now stifling any reason to innovate and invest in new technology. In the meantime companies like Toyota have a relentless pursuit for efficiencies in their manufacturing facilities. Check out this interesting article about Chery, a car company in China that wants to make 50% of the cars in China hybrids by 2010.

  3. For some reason, everyone in the world is going green, except us. If you look at new car dealerships, they make cars that use only 1/4 of fuel than most cars and are about 1/3 of the size of our cars. They are really popular in Europe and Tokyo.
