What would they be like? Would it be unimaginable to us, like 4D? And what would make them capable of that stuff and not us?

  1. I think, more than likely, there'd be a lot we could learn from one another, on the basis of having evolved completely separately.  Civilization would be vastly different, likely, no matter what, and there would be a lot of different kinds of civilization, like we have here.

  2. there are life out there probably but the chances of it being like humans or even more intelligent are very very very high. i think the odds are so high that it is next to impossible.

we have sent messages to outer space in hopes of some life getting hold of it. but if there is life more inteligent beyond us wouldn't they have also tryed that and wouldn't we be receiving messages from them.

BUT if we assume there are then what makes them cabable of what ever you said is that they have being in existence more than humans have.

we know more about everything than ancient egyptians because we have lived through 2000+ years than they have. so as a result we know more. this is the case for them. they might have come into existence maybe 2 or 3 thousand years before humans; so they are 2 or 3 thousands years ahead of us.

    hope this helps

  3. There is a high probability of life existing elsewhere in our universe, considering its size.

It's impossible to know what this life would be like.  They wouldn't necessarily be unimaginable to us, but if they are far more advanced than we are, their technology would be far beyond our capabilities, and difficult for us to understand.  Kind of like how our modern technology would be confusing to anyone living in the dark ages.

If they are most advanced than we are, it's because they've had longer to develop technology, their evolution took a far more efficient path than ours, and/or their environment allowed for a quicker advancement.  It wouldn't necessarily mean that we are incapable of developing such a society, just that, for whatever reason, they got there first.

  4. they would be either not as intelligent as us or highly intelligent

but it'll be many many years before we have the technology too see alien civilizations

for now its trying to find cell life somewhere else besides earth where water is like mars or jupiters moon europa

yet there out there... if you beliven in UFOS weve already seen them but if you dont than we havent

  5. Check out the Kardashev scale.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kardashev_s...

Civilizations are grouped according to there energy production:

Type I - Using all energy a planet receives.

Type II - Using all energy a star produces

Type III - Using all energy a galaxy produces

    Mankind is Type 0

I have a theory on the matter. Maybe there are no intelligent species out there among the stars. Maybe every intelligent species uses up all its natural resources and then regresses in complexity or blows itself up. Maybe 99% of all intelligent beings either consume everything around them or destroy themselves before they can found an advanced interstellar civilization. This would explain why there are no signs of advanced civilizations in the galaxy and follows mankind's glutton and destructive nature.
