  1. Yes and then we will have to battle it out with the crazy super apes in their silver jumpsuits mano-a-mano or whatever.. except by that point in time, we will look pretty different ourselves, more like shimmery egg heads that communicate via thoughts!

  2. Every creature that does not adapt, by producing successful mutations of itself, de-volves, until it becomes either smaller, or extinct...

  3. There is no determined direction of evolution that points animals in the direction of humans.  It is very likely that chimps evolved from a bipedal animal.  Some genetic studies actually indicate that chimps may have changed more than humans based on greater differences from a more distantly related animal in several genes studied.  Apes will not likely ever evolve into an animal with higher intelligence because we already occupy that niche.  If some group of apes finds a different way to live, then it may change in response to different selection pressures.  Nobody could really say which forms would be most suited to a particular niche.  Only time will tell.

  4. They may evolve into a smaller animal, in fact that is more likely give the pressures on them.

I predict they will not have time to evolve appreciably and will simply die.

Evolution does not have intelligence as a goal.  Life has been on this planet for about 1 billion years.  For the past 2 million (or few hundred thousand) an intelligent being has existed.  That's hardly evidence that all these other animals will work toward bigger brains.  They may very well be subject to pressure that demands no extra brain power at all.

As for why are there still apes, whales evolved from some bear-like land animal... why are there still bears?  Lynxes evolved from larger cats... why are there still large cats?  Are you getting it yet?  Different environments, different pressures?

  5. the ape will probily turn to super hero or turn to plain humans or posible be able to change shape.

  6. We didn't evolve from the apes that are still around today. And evolution is a very slow process, which gets slower still as it happens. So the apes today may well be as close to fully evolved as they're going to get. Depends how long they last, and what new factors they need to deal with, and if those factors happen slowly enough for them to respond.

  7. the answer is we did not come FROM apes. both apes and ourselves came from a common ancestor who remains unknown still to modern archeologists. evolution occurs in every member of a species ever born or to be born in the future. if the circumstances favor that small random genetic modification then that individual will out compete others of its group therefore be able to mate more...spreading that radom genetic mutation on to its children who will then survive better than the children of others and continue to spread their genetic advantage until those without it have completely died off.
