  1. dunno i was 2 then

plus i never lived in south africa

  2. I would vote NO as I did back in 1992, we tried to tell everyone would happen but you were all so fed up with the war and the threat of sanctions etc,

We lost the will to rule and now we are paying for it.

Rhodesia lasted 15 years of the worst sanctions and war when their former allies turned on them, SA would have lasted another 50 and like Alf says anything can happen in 50 years.

AND let us not forget the staple diet of 90% of Africans, CORN, Meilies, was also another gift from the Boere.

    EDIT Timesplit.

Everytime you put your foot into a shoe, or drink from a tap, or take your children to school and then go to work, everytime you have food on your table and eat off plates with a knife and fork and everytime you go to the doctor  or into hospital, or read a sign post or wear clothes you will be rejoycing in the harvest of the white man,  DieBoere, who brought these civilized things to an uncivilized barbaric people.

Evertime you drive on a tarmac road in your car, or have a sandwhich, or eat an apple or orange or use a comb remember that these things and all of the other stuff that made SA the greatest country to live in, was given to you by the people that you despise.

If you have rejected everything that the white man has given you and still live your traditional life then you can talk and you will have a little more credability in what you say, otherwise shut thefk up and get real

  3. Why are black people in South Africa so racist?

If it weren't for white people, you would still be running around with 'vellies' covering the essential, living in mud houses, and eating 'pap' morning, noon and night.

Oh, and let's not forget, Jan van Riebeeck came with a ship, a big ship, all the way from the Netherlands, over the ocean. Not bare -asse* through Africa.

So let's not debate whether white people are racist, because blacks are even more racist. Everthing you eat, sleep/sit on and wear was invented by a white person. Just be grateful for what white people has done for this country.

And oh, I would most definitely vote no...

  4. I would vote yes as I did back then. The Boere are a bunch of backward racist ay-holes and nothing pleases me more knowing that they are not in power anymore. The ANC however are not that great either but can you truly expect the legacy of Apartheid to disappear within a mere 14 years.

Stop having delusions of grandeur, Boerseun. Only the Boere supported Apartheid because it benefited them but now its come back to haunt them. Ever hear of the saying "you reap what you sow" or should I vertaal it for you ?

  5. What referendum took place in 1993?

    Oh 1992. (YES)

Well I stood for hours in the queue. And I know my answer was right. I would not change my vote but I would certainly have hoped for a different government, other than the ANC that we know today. I knew it would be difficult but not in my wildest dreams did I expect such a corrupt and incompetent government that disregards even the people they were apparently and initially fighting for..... Nor the lies or bad example they have given the people in terms of Aids.

  6. woulda coulda shoulda...

I would vote the same as I did then....

  7. The thing here Sybok is we can't keep going back into the past of what we would and should have done. It gets us no where and only leaves us stuck in the mud!

What should have happened is that the ANC should have kept their promise to their people. But they didn't, leaving everyone who believe they would do some good; conned.

We were not ALL better off before 1992 and we certainly are not ALL better off now!

    *edit*

Sybok, you are right the ANC are living in the past! But I'd like to think that I am the better person because I have not stooped to their sinkable level. I hope to return to SA one day and stand up to the biggest bully of SA, the ANC!

  8. NO definitely NO. I think if most people knew that by voting yes SA would be  in the state that it is in now they would also have voted NO.

  9. No

  10. Maybe someone should tell you that referendums are rigged so that the desired outcome is guaranteed!

  11. Yes.

  12. Lets be honest with ourselves. A no vote would not have been the correct vote. This very referendum was too late and should have been at least a decade earlier. I still would have voted yes however would have expected our politicians do do a better job.

  13. African national congress

  14. If they took the vote today it would be overwhelmingly "No." They say that even given US threats of embargos etc South Africa could still have lasted another 10 years and a lot can happen in 10 years.Militarily the ANC were a bigger threat to themselves than they were to anyone else so they were no problem. I wonder if the US does not look back and think they made the biggest mistake of their lives in handing over South Africa to a cabal of terrorists? I still think there is unfinished business in South Africa and that is promoted by the ANC with their anti White rhetoric. They forget that they were routed on every occasion they encountered the SADF and they also forget that the Afrikaner supported by sympathisers around the World will take out 1000's of them if it comes to a straight fight.

  15. I voted yes back in 1992, I am not particularly happy with what the ANC has done with my vote but I am fairly certain that a No vote wouldn't have been any better.

I think I would still vote yes.

  16. I would vote exactly the same as I did then.

  17. I would vote No again. Unfortunately I voted no last time and look how that worked out.

    Ja.

  18. I would vote the same as back then

But fw sold us out for a cheap farm in Greece

or was it was it for a bowl of putu
