First answer is a good 'un. Thanks for that... however silly the question may be!

It's a hypothetical question but I am indeed surprised by the relatively low sum of about 200 dollars a month from existing Earth GDP.

With the annual income so low, rearranging world finance in this way would, of course, carry the additional bonus of relieving everyone of having to pay any income tax though, so communism may have a chance yet. Never underestimate the overwhelming human desire to s***w the tax man after the last couple of thousand years of government / imperial / royal extortion.

  1. zero, because nobody will bother working.

  2. There is far less money( currency)  than there is wealth, since most wealth is held in non money assets. If the wealth  were divided up it would be about 20 to 30 thousand dollars per person, but the money would less than a thousand. As a rough estimate  a country's privately held wealth is 3 times GDP  and the currency is  about 1/20 GDP.

  3. thats hard to answer because who knows how much currency is actually out there.  I can tell you that the gross world product is 65.61 trillion dollars per year.   So if everyone in the world made the exact same amount of money, our yearly paycheck would look like $9,825 or about 188 dollars per week.

Just a rough guess, but if you somehow were able to put all the cash in the world into one pot and split it up between every man woman and child, (and converted it all to dollars) it probably wouldnt be more than 100 bucks each person would get.  (i know hard to believe, but most money is tied up in electronic computers and actual cash is not really used as much as you think.)
