The heard that oil that comes from offshore drilling will belong to a multinational firm, like Exxon-Mobil and will go to world markets, not us. Is this true?

  1. It would be sold internationally, and it could be 10 years before we ever saw any effect on price from said drilling.

  2. already lots of Alaskan oil going to Japan. Conservatives are so far off the mark trying to make liberals scapegoats for the spike in gas prices  it's not even funny.

  3. First "we" don't drill for oil. Oil companies drill for oil. Once they have pumped out the oil, it is sold on the international markets to refining companies that may or may not be in the US.
