If we found out tomorrow?

that there was proof of alien life on other planets, would many organized religions collapse do to the fact that many of them believe god made us special and that there is no other life in the universe?

My religion teaches that there is live on other planets in other galaxies. So I wouldn't be too surprised. I doubt they would be little green men though.

As we type religions are changing their teachings to include life on other planets. Like Noah and the ark people now know there were around 1.8 million different species of animals at the time of the ark story and modifications are being done to that story too.

Actually, Islam supports life on other planets.....

And He creates other things you do not know. (Qur'an, 16:8)

Aliens probably have communities too, right?

There is no creature crawling or flying on its wings, who are not in communities just like yourselves… (Qur'an, 6:38)

I'm sure people  would end up talking their way around it. All human knowledge is due to our nature of disregarding what we once held closest to the heart, to adapt to something new that develops.
