  1. The duration of an undergraduate degree in geology can vary by program and by country.  They can take anywhere from 3-5 years, but 4 years is the typical duration.

The masters degree will be an additional 1-2 years after your undergraduate in North America, but elswhere in the world there are some very different arrangements.

The Doctorate, or PhD is typically 5-7 years.  Usually they appear like they can be theoretically completed in 5 years, but because they are generally flexible and because the quantity of work involved stacks up quickly, you can find a lengthy dissertation and defense process eventually pushing you even past the 7 year mark.  Once again coutries will represent differences in their programs.

  2. 1 moment ;):D

  3. Maybe I am the only one, but I don't get what exactly you are asking.  Any geology course in college is a semester long.  If you are wondering how long it takes to get a degree in geology, I would have to say 4-5 years.

  4. The question makes no sense to me. Further it would make better sense to ask it in geology about earth history, not anthropology about humans.
