If we go to war with Iran, Will be bomb them silly, or just play around like in Iraq?

Hope we all leaned from Iraq, that if we go in, we go in Balls and all.

Take care of their chances of nukes chances, and then get out of dodge and over to Afganistan. How about it you guys, Whats your move?

The Pentagon says we don't have the resources for a third front war. And limited airstrikes isn't going to do anything but force Iran to respond with aggressive force--seeing how their military is more up to date and not crippled by endless war as ours is.

It seems even more true nowadays than in 1914-1918  or  1939-1945 and that is - NOBODY wins in wars, and modern wars are about economics rather than Defence.

We made a mistake in going into Vietnam and then did the same in Afghanistan and then Iraq ............ so should we make the same mistakes again with Iran ?

Whatever happened to "Using our defence forces to protect our people at home ?".

It has been said that one big terrorist attack at home similar to 9/11 will catch us with "our pants down".

It will be a bombing campaign and it is going to happen soon based on reports covered in the Debka file and Janes defense weekly.

If we take the politics out of it, we will bomb them back to glass particles in the sand.  

If Israel is invovled, there will be very little left of Iran.  They have the most to lose and can't afford stupid political games.

In Afganistan, we need to arrest every person and put them into some type of holding system, while we look for the Al'quaida (spelling).  When the human mules are taken out of commission, then the bad guys will have to surrendar due to hunger, thirst, etc...  It would be safer for our guys to narrow the number down as low as we can.

OK way back when, we bombed the snot out of Iraq.  We leveled just about every military target there to include Saddamm's missles, all of his aircraft and runways, and a few of his sons.

Talk to the soldiers in Iraq and ask them if their playing.  The liberals want to criticize our strategy, offer nothing, condemn our soldiers if they kill a terrorist, just talk to the enemy, while the enemy blows people off the face of the earth, welcome Iran's president with open arms, when he wants to blow Israel and the U.S. off the face of the earth, and give the enemy a platform to speak to our young students (Columbia).  God help us if we get a Democrate in the White House - because our soldiers will have no protection at all!  When will liberals understand that this is no game.

We would bomb all there military targets and that would be that. We have no intention of sending in ground troops. The whole thing would be over in a few weeks.

we do not have the troops to commit to another area of the world so an outside chance at best and we will not have a country to fight like iraq that had all the military just give in these will fight and fight hard and with Russia selling so many nukes after the cold war how do you know they do not have a few there
