  1. the Beckhams and all the other ghastly Nouveau Riche

  2. would not get rid - no one would look after it like they would and it is an important part of our history.  could you imagine if we did get rid - either Gordon Brown or Ken Livingstone would take it over before you could blink.

    the thought makes me sick

  3. John Prescott.....he deserves it

  4. I'm looking for a rather more spacious property at the moment..... Does it have a garden?

  5. Jade Goody.

  6. Vicky Pollard from little britain.

  7. Me. Apparently many years ago our family castle was burnt down and we were thrown out by the then monarch, so it would just be compensation.

  8. How do you mean "get rid of" do you mean like the Russians did. If not and you dissolved the monarchy what difference would it make cos the family that woz royalty would still be the richest family in the world and could live anywhere they please. you couldn't really evict them for not being royal when you apparently have banned royalty

  9. There's more than enough homeless people, who I'm sure would be really grateful.

Come to think of it, there must be loads of spare bedrooms, let's get some homeless in there now.

Failing that, I'll move in with Kylie Minogue, Dannii can come too if she likes...lol, and I'm sure I can find a load more deserving cases.

  10. Nobody.  It should be like Versailles --  a historical palace open to the public.

  11. Tesco

  12. me and my family. We would be the royal Jones family.

  13. The President. of the oncoming Republic.. Vive la Republic!.

  14. If the British monarchy was abolished, Buckingham Palace would either turn into a museum, or used as an official residence of the Prime Minister and its family, while he/she is in office. I can't see it being used or bought off privately just to anyone, since it is apart of the Crown Estate, owned by the British government.

There was a mutual agreement that if the monarch surrender some of its properties including Buckingham Palace, Windsor Castle and a few other royal residences, the monarch was granted a Civil List annuity that covers most expenses associated with the Sovereign performing of his or her state duties, including those for staffing, state visits, public engagements, official entertainment, and upkeep of the Royal Households.

Note: Every succeeding Sovereign has renewed the arrangement made between George III and Parliament and the practice has long been reckoned among those constitutional conventions which it would be very hard to end.

  15. The Homeless, could put it to good use.

    Have a good day ;-)

  16. the Teletubbies

  17. The Royle Family of course.Who else?

  18. Ryan Sheckler.

  19. BLAIR !!!

As in Lionel Blair - of course - not the Tony version.

I would otherwise favour Red Ken and his cohorts of somewhat suspect friends - about 5000 could sleep there comfortably - and we would at least be able to keep an eye on them.

  20. no one.  It would be a museum, just like the palaces of France and Russian are, today.

  21. Wounded soldiers.

  22. All the illegal immigrants.

  23. Would make a marvellous film studio

Hammer Horror films or Harry Potter

  24. the homeless

  25. chavs and teenage mothers.
