How about we just not fight and give them Vermont. We don't need them and Puerto Rico can take their place so we don't have to change the flag.

If we lost Vermont we would lose the legend of Phish... I'm not sure America is ready to lose all the new age hippies and all the happiness and peace they've obviously brought to this country....... just some food for thought.....

I have a better suggestion: why doesn't the USA learn to get on with the rest of the world?  I can't wait for the day when Americans stop viewing the rest of the world with suspicion.  There are 6 billion people on this planet and the vast majority of them aren't terrorists.

Americans never fight on their home soil but they want to create new conflicts. As long as there's a vast ocean separating them from the combat most think it's cool to support the troops
