If we invaded iraq to save the populace from a dictator, why not georgia?

Actually we really didn't invade Iraq because it had a dictator ruler. Those propaganda you must have heard were all fronts and rhetoric masking the true agenda. In this current era the only way a country can be considered an ally or democratic to the American government is if it bows down in submission to the west's imperialistic policies and interests. America has friends in the world that are both democratic, corrupt presidents, dictators, kings, and so forth.

Now the reason why we cannot aid Georgia is because Russia is a superpower and I don't think our military, at its current stretched and out-of-funds state, could take on a powerful adversary such as Russia.

No--not again.  We got rid of Hussein years ago, yet we are still in Iraq.  We don't need that again.  I think Russian and Georgia should work this out for themselves.  We have enough problems in our own country.
