Question:

If we reject the one we love and love the one who rejects us, is it love at all?

I know you might say the infamous "well, if you have to ask..." but it's deeper than that. Whether or not it's actual love, what's the problem in this vicious cycle? How do we really fix it? Common sense works for a while, but these things turn us into self-inflicted fools.

  1. Love is a very complicated emotion and it's just hard to deal with in any rationale fashion. Different people seem to bring out all kinds of feelings in our lives, and we can't help who we love. If you can understand what I'm saying good luck lol.

  2. If we reject the one we love then we are the problem.  Why reject the one we love?  Who would reject the one they love?  If we reject the one who loves us then that's just how it is.  If they're not the right one and we have no feelings towards them then we shouldn't be with them in the first place.  That's common sense.  If we love the one who rejects us then we should use common sense and move on.  I know it's hard but no one should be with someone who doesn't want them.  Momma told me years ago that If they don't want me then I don't want to be there.  More common sense.

From your question I think Love doesn't come into play unless it's returned.
