  1. Good question. It has not been changed into energery yet if it has not been used.

  2. well im just takin a shot at it...i isnt used before it is used...like we dont use the energy until we turn on a light or w/e

  3. what the h**l kind of question is this? energy does not get saved, it gets used up, unless, unless you are talking about our reserves under the ground.

  4. If the energy you are saving is gas or hot water (usually heated using gas) it just means less gas goes through your house meter, so you pay less.

If everybody saves energy (which means they USE LESS), then the companies pumping natural gas and oil out of the ground will pump less. This means less gas being burnt creating less CO2, and also means the reserves of gas will last longer.

When the energy is electricity it is slightly different, but the end result is the same. Although some electricity comes from renewable (sometimes called 'green' sources) such as wind and solar, most of it still comes from the burning of gas and coal.

Each country's power grid is supplied by several power stations. If there is less consumption on the grid, the power companies can reduce the output of some of these stations, or even shut them down completely for a while. They would shut down the stations burning gas or coal, so again, less CO2 going to the atmosphere, and the reserves of gas and coal will last longer.

  5. it depends on what type of container you keep it in

  6. Maybe in your head.

  7. I know it's sound so stupid. We are saving or they say save energy and like you say where does it go? This is very good question. You are saving for your budget. But it's make any sense for me, in the mean time the prices going higher and higher and the rich people using so much energy, driving the expensive big cars and the oil companies making big money. So I hope you get good answers....

  8. Energy in not created or destroyed, It is only transformend from one form to another.

Much of the energy we use comes from fossil fuel. This is energy that we transform to the present that has been stored in the form of fossil fuel, largely oil, for millions of years.

Of course this is not renuable. If we save it or use it at a slower rate we allow this energy to remain dormant in the earth instead of dumping it into the environmnt in the form of heat.

Our present automobiles waste more than 80% of the thermal energy created by the burning of fuel. That is why hybrids are more efficient.
