They say we pay high premiums because if we hurt someone that does not have medical insurance , this is the reason it cost so much, so we pay to cover medical, but everyone had medical ...we could still have to get car fixed like now.

  1. Probably, I'm surte the scum sucking insurance companies would find some other excuse to raise prices.

  2. We'll have to wait for nationalized car insurance to know for sure.

What, you don't think that's next  -  this is how everything "nationalized" gets started.

I would think nationalized housing would come next, but I could be wrong.

  3. I seriously doubt it would reduce auto insurance very much. Medical expenses is not the major cost to auto insurers. If it dropped our premiums very much, I would be shocked.

  4. Car insurance rates could be reduced or even provided for free if all the health costs (hospital, pharmacy and doctors visits) were made free of charge to the end user. They would go down a lot, and car insurance might possibly not be needed at all.

Currently, though, most European & all British drivers still have to buy car insurance, which is cheaper than in the US coz the hospitals, pharmacies and doctors do not charge the individual or his/her health insurance provider there, they charge the health system as a whole.

  6. I don't get the relationship.  The states would still want insurance to cover liabilty if you were to hurt someone by driving, getting into an accident, and hurting someone.  And as a tax payer I would want you to be insured because I should not have to pay for your wreckless driving.
