  1. don't be silly. newspapers make a lot of money, its a business and if they printed so many lies the sun wouldn't be in circulation. can you imagine the court costs and compensation pay outs if that's all they did. you can knock the sun as much as you like but they tell it like it is. whats wrong with that. i read the Sunday times and the news of the world and the sun during the week. and like other posts have said, those pictures are real enough if that is what you are referring to.

  2. Unfortunately, most of the stuff they have in there is based on fact. It is, however, really annoying when they always seem to up the body count on any disasters that happen, just to sell more papers....

  3. Of course it is full of lies, words my mum always said of the press the only three things you can really believe on a paper they are the

    Name

    Date

    Price.

rest should be taken with a large helping of doubt, mixed with cynicism.

  4. Most buy it for b***s NOT current events

Are those kids from the same parents - look at their mouths! Kids in UK look nothing like they did when I was growing up there 30 yrs ago - they are look like Eastern Europeans nowadays! We looked nothing like them!

  5. Unless the Uk adopts a more tougher Justice system, then mindless abuse of animals and thuggery will always happen, regardless of which newspaper publishes the stories.

  6. The armed robbery part can be dealt with through alt currencies. If people do yes. Speaking of which AL-QAEDA has been said to have been planning an attack on oil refineries and such as well as Christians. Point is the evacuation and planned demolition of air ports plus cars instead of terrorist attacks is possible. Question is if AL-QAEDA  and Oil Prices also fabrications which will go away if  no one pays attention to one and deals with the other in the aforesaid matter.

  7. No, it wont go away. It will still be happening but we can all pretend it doesnt

Either that or the Daily Mail will get a sales boost

  8. Well, i read it most days. I will continue to read whatever papers i choose.

All papers have a certain bias politically. But, that doesn`t mean they print total lies.

If all the Guardian/Telegraph readers are able to prove that they can write, spell, and articulate themselves as well as your average Daily Mail/Sun reader, I would love to know. But, i doubt it. Your average tabloid reader, often has more common sense and a better standard of basic english. I`ve seen too many on here, write long rambling questions and answers, chuck in a few big words and think that makes them look intelligent. No, it doesn`t. You just show yourselves up. :)

  9. There is an argument that the tabloids, by giving such behaviour the oxygen of publicity, actually fuels it.

The Sun has always had a reputation as being the epitome of the gutter press, that in the past was perhaps unfair. But lately it seems to have taken on the mantel of the National Enquirer - they are obsessed with UFOs at the moment!

  10. I don't read the Sun, what is the point you are making?

  11. No things like that will never go away. We just have to live with the fact there is violence in this worlds.

And if everything in the sun is rumours or lies, then youths never get stabbed, madeliene never disappered and no 'celebrity' excists because The sun made it up.

  12. Is it full of lies? Those pics look pretty factual to me. Well I never.

  13. If enough of us refuse to be treated like children...then yes.  This sort of garbage will go away because it won't make money for this scum anymore.

  14. Maybe it's about time a few people got their heads of out their arses and finally accepted people are FREE to read which ever newspaper they want

as for the pictures how naive are you to think that doesn't go on?

do you live in the clouds full time or just after nightfall?

  15. No the Sun readers will prob turn to the Star :)

  16. I don't buy the Sun,

  17. i think what your getting at is the glorying of violence, s*x and general c**p that tabloids produce.

No its not gonna go away, the internet is full of c**p like this for one, as you say.

The problem lies within society and a need for a new set of values to placed upon it, and instilled in the 'yoof'. it's about nurture now, it took us a long time to figure it out and yet we cant seem to apply it.

  18. I think the thugs on the video should be shot in the face with shotguns then aired on public television for everyone to see what will happen if you do these type of things.

  19. Don't read it anyway.
