While we are created in God's image, Jesus Christ and the angels for example were created in similar form. There's a difference. Our likeness, as in hands, arms, head, whatever, resembles that of God. However, in form we are probably nothing like God. We aren't invisible, powerful, majestic beings. Obviously.

It's sort of like vampires; they don't have reflections. (That's vampires right?)

And even though God doesn't have a reflection, we still do because we are simply his image, not the image of his reflection.

That does not refer to the physical image, clearly, or we would all look the same. It refers to the more basic structure:

1. Our mind = the Father, the creative intellect, maker and leader of all.

2. Our body = the Son, the physical vehicle for interacting with the material world.

3. Our soul = the Holy Ghost, the connection to the spiritual realm.

We are three in one, just as God is. We can cause all three to work together to bring about godlike powers. When He said "in our image" he expounded "...according to our likeness."  I believe He was talking about our qualities like the ability to show love, justice, wisdom, and power which are His 4 most outstanding attributes.  When someone says "You are so much LIKE your mom"  they are referring to your personality.  When they say "you LOOK so much like your mom" then they are speaking of physical appearence.  You can ACT like your mom and not LOOK like her.  Just like we can imitate God's love even though we aren't invisible.

You're right about God being invisible though, according to the Bible:

Colossians 1:15 : "He (Jesus) is the image of the Invisible God..."

1 Timothy 1:17 - "Now to the King of eternity, incorruptible, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory forever and ever..."

Hebrews 11:27 - "By faith he (Moses) left Egypt, but not fearing the anger of the king, for he continued steadfast AS seeing the One who is invisible."
