Me and my girlfriend broke up due to some small issues, and i messed around with a different girl for a bit and she found out and told all her friends and mainly the entire school i cheated on her, when she knows good and well we weren't dating, she says we were just "Taking a break because of our issues" but we said we were ******* seperated. How is this my fault?

You guys need to clear up what "separated" and "taking a break" means. For some, you can't be with someone else, because that means you don't care about your gf/bf. For others, it's total freedom. If you guys didn't make it clear, then don't let the "rumors" bother you. This is jsut like Friends.

You didnt specify that by break you meant break as in break up for a while. she probably thought thatyou meant break as in like a tv show were you stop watching it for a while and then come back to it. Talk to her and set things straight

Maybe she thought that it was just a temporary separation and that you two were going to talk it out later? It looks like there was a misunderstanding and it's not your fault. She shouldn't have told the whole school.
