Question:

If when i was born the doctor said i was ambidextrous?

ive seen in some questions that there are some negative effects and if so what are they also would it affect me if i was born ambidextrous? i also dont do stuff with both hands but i do write with my left but throw a baseball with my right and stuff like that is that normal for everyone?

  2. It is impossible for a doctor to know whether or not you are ambidextrous at birth.

    You must be old enough to have "dexterous" skills before you can tell that. Every child is born ambidextrous, and as their brain and motor skills develop and mature, they become either right or left handed, or ambidextrous.

    I write with my right hand, but throw with my left, and golf left handed, but I would not consider myself ambidextrous, because those are skills that I learned from a left handed person.

  3. There's nothing ever wrong with being ambidextrous, i wish i was.

    But no, i mainly use my right hand for everything, unless i'm using my right hand already in which case i use my left as well, as in typing right now...

  4. I don't know if being ambidextrous has any negative consequences, I would personally love it. I play drums and i'm sure being able to use both hands fluidly would be awesome. Give drums a try.
