If you're a Disneyland Annual Passholder, can you also go to California Adventure on a blockout day?

Assuming you buy the $40 ticket, will it still count for both parks?

Yes.  A blockout day ticket gives you the same access as a non-blockout day.

So, you can parkhop just keep your ticket with you at all times.

Answer 2

Yes.  If you have the Select  Southern Califonia pass, make sure you apply your $40 towards an "upgrade." Just bring your ticket into the passport place and then you'll upgrade to more days, all for the price you already paid to get it.  Get it?
