against a girl who punched you in the face and got 2 stitches?

Hypothetically speaking.....You didn't know this person and you didn't strike back.

Would you press charges for assault and battery?

seriously their had to be more to the story.  Did he do something? If not I would press charges of assault especially if someone caused me to get stitches. have her pay for the medical bills and then she will think twice about doing it again.

SINCE THIS IS HYPOTHETICAL in nature, we answer it as normal and usual like everything under the sun.

If it happen to me, I WOULDN'T press CHARGES against a girl. HERE is my own opinion and reason, I know you will keep coming back to me with my answer. Why like this or why like that because it never happen to me so on and so forth.

The simplest reason is that a girl structure or body is not like those of a MALE structure. Just make example of the hand knuckles we have, our bones are more more firm and big compared to a woman or a girl. Even if for instance I was smack by a girl in the face, it wouldn't hurt me that much compare to a male who will do the same. Some male who smack a face of a wrestle for instance will hurt himself or injured his hand. The face of a wrestler hitting it with your bare hand is like boxing a concrete wall.

Let us assume the girl is big like 6 foot 3 inches tall,weights around 199 pounds, a punch from her would definitely send you to kingdom come, or broke one of your teeth, correct? Again the same argument she is a girl no doubt, and gauging a punch from her is not accurate compared to a male person. The same argument I will not press charges of assault and battery, imagine me in the precinct with all other cops complaining about a girl who smack me in the face. ISN'T THAT TOO EMBARACING to know everycop is looking at me.

So keep your curiously to an end, curiosity only pertain to cats.

Sure. If she is the kind of person who would do something like that then who knows what other sort of bull she may try. Even if I did not know her I would be wary and want to have it on record.

A long time ago I was at a party and some girl blindsided one of my pals. He just said whatever. The girl left and later tripped on the curb at home or whatever. The next day she called the police and said that the big bruise on her face was because my pal had beat her up. The police picked him up and charged HIM for assault.

He was with me all night so I was able to go down and sort it all out for him.

In some situations just shirking it off might be in order. But if you have to actually get stiches I say better safe than sorry and file a police report. There would be no shame in it as they know there are some nutty women out there. They would understand the potential for legal liabilities and all of that. They would also applaud and respect the fact that the man had the restraint as a MAN to not retaliate.
