screen  doors on the front of your car.  This will allow you to see while cutting down on the major sunlight streaming in.  Added bonus:  You get a nice breeze with the screen doors!

Wow, thanks for the brilliant insight.  I never would have thought of that, I only wear sunglasses when driving away from the sun in the morning.  Sometimes I wear sunglasses at night.
