Can you transfer to say Ireland?

And if so, where exactly are you transferred to?

To my knowledge there are no Bases, Camps, Forts, Facilities, etc. of any branch of the US Military located in Ireland.

  1. Since there are no installations in Ireland, there would be no reason to send you; unless you were attached to some kind of diplomatic mission.  Those positions are not usually filled by the AF, however.

You could go to England which is, of course, just a stone's throw from Ireland.

  2. If no bases then nope

    Vet-USAF

  3. Okay, let's make it very simple: If there is no US military facility of any type in the place where you want to be, then you cannot be transferred to that place.
