Question:

If you're not a vegetarian, may I ask how come?

Can you seriously see yourself as never being strong enough to be able to survive without the consumption of animals for pleasure? Would you at least consider cutting back, or cutting down? I'm a semi-vegan, so I don't wear leather or silk or anything from an animal, and etc. I could never ask for another way to lead my life. All I ask is for your consideration and open-mindedness. This lifestyle is really quite easy, and all the more fulfilling! So, what I really ask you is...would you possibly try/consider it?

  1. All I ask of you now, is to be "open minded" to all of those (like me) who enjoy a nice "Steak". Life is also, very fulfilling on this side of the street!

  2. What are your reasons for being vegetarian?

If it is because the killing of animals is cruel one must think about the environment there also. If a certain amount of animals aren't killed off, they will starve because of overpopulation and a reduced amount of food, especially the wild variety.

Also the human body needs protein and meat is a good way to get protein. Most veggies don't have enough of it. I know beans do, but I don't care for beans that much.

I did try it several years ago and was hungry after I finished a meal, so I went back to meat.

As for killing animals, if it is done humanely I see no problem.

  3. I'm not a vegetarian because I don't like a lot of vegetables and because I'm a picky eater.

  4. because believe it or not we are supposed to.

humans are animals at the end of the day.

and i could never go vegetarian cos i love meat so much, vegetables are just sort of a chore for me to eat. also if u ever have kids u should consider at least feeding them meat in their developing years cos it can make them unhealthy if u dont.

  5. I did try it.

    Uh, I lasted a week.

The aroma of the BBQ was too tempting.

  6. Because I'm normal..........you are the minority. Join the club, blt's are good. If you vegan's have it your way you'll be trying to impose your flawed ideologies on the animal kingdom itself (we are part of the animal kingdom btw). Carnivours eat meat. Humans are half carnivorous. Evolution says so. And if your not scientific, God also says so. No matter how you look at it it is the way of things. Accept it!

By a triple quarter pounder with cheese while wearing your fur coat, with the leather hooker boots. Produced in some third world country by a 7 year old southeast asian kid with one arm, working for 3 cents a day. It is the way of the world.

  7. I hate all that slaughtering of animals and stuff, and I have tried being a vegetarian and it's just really.... well the food just taste gross.

  8. I think your right in a way and i think being veggie is a good thing but i wouldn't do it. My main reason for this is i like going out for meals, going home, going to other people's houses and on these occasions other people are going to want to cook my food and i don't want to put any trouble on them by being veggie and there is always only 1 veggie option in pubs and restaurants so i would never be veggie.

  9. look, as a meatetarian, I don't shove my beliefs down people's throats. Why is it that most vegetarian's do? Meat tastes good. it's good for you. I bet you bruise easily, don't you? Well, the little piggy I ate last night made sure that I won't bruise for days!=) yum yum

I could never stomach fake meat, sweetie, it's gross.

But I do think it's good to have your own beliefs and values. stay with them but people aren't going to make that big of a life change just because you ask them to. just like you wouldn't start eating baby cows if we asked you to.

I like my salad with a side of chicken. You don't. that's okay

  10. because I love meat

  11. I love bacon.

  12. I obviously respect those who chose different lifestyles than me, but I would never give up meat. Ok, so partially cause I'm young and it's imperative for growth, etc but also because I love it...

I mean... vegetarians and vegans have to have iron supplements, right? Doesn't that demonstrate that we were constructed to eat meat?

  13. personal choice. accept your not going to convince the world!

  14. been one 18 yrs!

  15. Im totally against animal cruelty and all that but i would never stop eating meat,i love it too much and is a regular part of our diet.I respect your decision but not being rude, shouldn't you leave it up to us on what we eat in our diet.

  16. There's no such thing as a "semi-vegan"

  17. a person nids nutrient from both animal n vege. I also dun wear clothes made from animal fur, skin, etc. coz thats just plain cruel.
