  1. Not necessarily. That's actually a logical fallacy, because it ignores 'abstinence education.' I believe in s*x ed, but I completely disagree with any and all logical fallacies.

  2. no, it just means ur naive.!   its not a nice thought to think of our teens as sexually active..but we must get our heads out of our butts and take care of business!!  birth control is not a sin.. being pregnant at 17 IS!

  3. The problem with such programs is the same as with every other Government Program.  It does not work and in fact has the opposite effect.  When I was a child, we did not learn about s*x until we were in Junior Year of high school Health Class.  We were not issued condoms and we were taught not to engage in s*x outside of wedlock.  The result was very few pregnant teenagers.

Now we teach all about s*x all through grade school, and hand out free condoms.  The result?  Millions of pregnant teenaged girls.  Hello!

Do Liberals ever look back over their shoulder to see what effect they are actually having as opposed to what they intended?  In my long experience, they do not.

  4. No, it doesn't mean that you are for teen pregnancy it means that you are not willing to accept the fact that teens are being sexually active and that you refuse to beleive that this has a negative affect on our economy and morality of our society. Some people are just in denial until the issue knocks on their own fornt doors.

  5. no. Don't let people make you think that. You don't have to be for teen pregnancy and yet don't support or think that teen pregnancy prevention are the right way to go about it.

  6. Either that, or you just flat out just don't give a ****. I assume these types of people are well off.

  7. He's not against prevention programs, he's against *federal* money being spent on prevention programs.  State and local governments can do whatever they want.

This boils down to a small federal government, like conservatives generally want, vs a giant federal government like liberals want.

  8. it depends who you ask. you may just be someone who feels that people are gonna do whatever they are gonna do and that the resources of prevention are better spent elsewhere.

  9. Im not agasint them, just against paying for them. Parents should teach their own kids.

  10. they are not working!! i had girls knocked up in my health class. It does not work you have teach your own kids and learn. My sister was a young mom and she is great she went to school and she even got married and here 6 years later she is happy and has a newborn son and a happy marriage and its all ok. but i saw how she struggled in the beginning and how scared she was. and i know i don't want to be a young mom. so I'm for but they need to be free and more effective.

  11. Too bad my vote is for McCain, no matter what!
