If you're placed on Academic Suspension, can you not attend college anywhere?

Question

I was recently placed on Academic Suspension at Lake-Sumter Community College here in Florida. I'm not entirely sure what that means, so an explanation would be appreciated, but more importantly does that status prevent me from going to college ANYWHERE in Florida (or out-of-state)? If I was to apply to Valencia Comm. College, could I go there? Or does my status at LSCC bar me from college until it has passed?

Is it academic suspension or probation? If it is academic probation you may continue to take classes at your college to raise your grade to a 2.0 or C. See a counselor about this. Your counselor will help you to arrange a study program.
