  1. YES I TOOK A TEST AT 5 WEEKS AND IT CAME BACK NEGATIVE. THE FOLLOWING  WEEK IT CAME BACK POSITIVE

  2. it does sumtime show negative at early stages wait another week

  3. It could be delay or you may pregnant wait for few more days and do you know best time to do a test is early in the morning

  4. There are some test that you can take 6 days before your period and could give u a answer but still in early stages is harder for the pregnancy to detect but still after the day u missed you period is unlikely for the test to be wrong but the best way to find out is to go to ur doctor and take a blood test.

  5. it can take a week or even 2 after missing your period for it to show on a home test. to be certain, ask your doctor to do a blood test - they are 100% accurate.

  6. relax and give it another week before testing again, if you can't wait that long go to your doctor and get a blood test. hope your wish comes true.

  7. You could definitely be pregnant and not have it show up on tests very early on.  I wish there was something I could say other than wait and see.  Yes, you could go to a doctor's office for a blood test, and if you're very uncomfortable due to the IBS, maybe you should go for it so if you're not pregnant, you can adjust your meds for that.

But the truth is, with the widespread availability of "early" pregnancy tests, more and more women are driving themselves crazy testing super-early... and then running to the doctor for tests specifically because they've tested too early and are second-guessing the negative results they keep getting.

The best thing - and believe me, I know it's hard - is to wait a few days, maybe even TWO days, and then test again with a reliable name-brand test.  Cheap tests may give ambiguous answers that will just drive you crazy once again.

Finally, want to add:  both of my last babies began life as negative pregnancy tests.  Hope you get the answers you want, and SOON!

  8. I would wait a week a test again. My test didn't show as positive until I was 10 days late I think. I also suffered from really bad period-like pains for about a month.
