To those who are the eldest children in their families and who have lost or do not communicate with their same s*x parent (if you're a man you cannot contact your father and if you're a woman you cannot contact your mother), how did losing your mother or father affect you, and who do you go to for advice?

Just curious. Thanks! :)

The other things I talk about with my friends which was not a good thing when I was a teenager. I did and do not have female relatives nearby to talk to. I am the oldest of 5 children. All of my siblings are boys. So, I couldn't talk to them either, lol.
