If you're underwater, is everything wet?

For example, If you'r scuba diving, and you touch a piece of coral or a fish or something, is it wet?

  2. Well, first off, you shouldn't touch coral, as the oil from your hands will kill it.  Probably shouldn't try to touch fish either, but they're quick and will get away from you if you do.

    But let's say you touch a rock or something.  It's wet, but so are you, so you don't notice any difference.  It's the same as if you're in the bathtub with your hands underwater, and then you touch the drain.

  3. Hmmm... let's see.  If something is immersed in water, is it wet?!  Ahh, yeah, something that is in water will be wet.

  4. Yes. Since you're already underwater, you'll be wet too.

    Everything that is submerged will be wet. However, you probably don't want to touch coral or fish as they can either hurt you, or you can hurt them.
