If you have read a story like this, what is it that made you want to keep reading and how do I incorporate this factor into my writing? Also, what kind of story do you find most intresting? (like something you would want to read)

Thanks =D

  1. Um..... when I went to cottages.... I met this person named avital.... and i kept on borrowing Twilight over and overand i just kept on turning the pages of that book. That book is really good =]

  2. Its scairy, and at the same time sort of funny, there HAS to be romance, and alot of cliff hangers. I dont like those books about girls going to boarding schools, or all preppy.

  3. It has to be somewhat fast-paced and with lots of cliffhangers.

It has to be intriguing, but at the same time doesn't require a lot of thought to understand.

A good example for me is the Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown.

  4. Tangerine, and Kira-Kira

becuase it reminds me of what other people are going through!

    BTW I LUV REALISTIC FICTION

  5. welll i think it was just all of the suspense and it just kept me guessing.

i was like on the edge of my seat the whole time i read "twilight" and the harry potters. also with gemma doyle trilogy.

its just action and romance always leave me wanting more.

    hope this helped :)

  6. It is something about wanting to know the outcome ....wanting to know what happened to the characters....I like anything that I can escape into and not come back for a few hours or so....I am always trying to live in someones fantasy world...

  7. The Harry Potter's. Especially the seventh book, I read it in a day. Eragon and Eldest were hard to put down as was Inkheart and Ella Enchanted. All very good books.

The stories I fing the most interesting are stories in which I can relate to the character and that have have a mix of everything. Romance, Adventure, fantasy, action, character development, logic, fast paced, treachery,  humor, funness, pain (loss), and twists. All of that plus more can be found in The Inheritance Cycle (eragon, eldest...) and The Harry Potters.

  8. i think relating to the character gets me.

  9. cliffhangers.

it was fast paced and exciting, with twists in plot. just as you thought it was safe, BAM, the real villian shows up, just as you thought it was over, BAM, something shoking happens.

like the main charater is hanging off a tower roof. after a dragon left her there. end of chapter.

(that is from a book i'mn reading, dragon flight)

  10. I think it's the fast pace and the suspense and if i an relate to one of the characters then it helps.

I like reading adventure and romance best, it also helps if the book has a bit of humour as i don't like to read things that are too serious.
