If you've ever tried Tetracycline pills: what did they do for you?

i'm going to take these pills for my skin... but i'm a bit worried after reading the side effects... any info is appreciated

  1. I'd say the worst side effect I had was overactive hormones, where you feel skin crawling feeling, but it was the 3rd or 4th week for like a night, and then it's over.

    I think for the first two weeks, my acne didn't exactly go away until later, so for the first few weeks I had an oily face.


  2. Tetracycline's side effects are generally rare, as with most other antibiotics. The worst ones you'll probably get are mild loose stool and a sunburn.

  3. I took them as a child. The doctor gave them to me for an ear infection, even though I was too young. I believe one has to be 13 and older. The tetracycline permanently stained my teeth. Try to find an alternative to this, or be very careful.
