  1. The salesperson so so good I actually paid more than the asking price.

    HD Sportster.

  2. 2005 Kawasaki Vulcan 750 asking price at dealer was $5000 paid 4300 and made them throw in a windshield.  Blue book was 4300 so I came out even on MSRP.  Its just like anything else they mark it way up and you haggle.  I found the exact same bike at a competitor for 4300 so that helped too.  Shop around know your prices, and market value.  Walk away if you have to they will be calling you before you leave the parking lot, don't impulse buy you will be guaranteed to get screwed.

  3. New 2008 XT Yamaha 250  MSRP was 4399 and I paid 4200 and that included everything with no fees or taxes tacked on. Out the door. Also threw in a helmet ( 49.95 DOT approved )and 2 good heavy duty tie downs for my trailor to haul it home as it was 100 miles home.

  4. 2005 Suzuki SV650

    0.6 MI

    = $5000.00 Out the Door, Cash, money,dinero!

  5. The dealers here {auto & motorcycles} commonly ask 40% ABOVE  MSRP.  So I will drive 8 hrs to Denver to make my purchases, I usually contact them ahead of time and bring my trailer and tie downs.  I just bought a Suzuki SV650 for my wife and it was $3800.00 CHEAPER in the Denver Metro area than here.

  6. I just got a new Street Glide. The MSRP was 19K and that's what I paid for it. The dealer I deal with sells everything at MSRP.

  7. I bought mine a couple of years ago but I saved $2500 off of the MSRP as it was a demo model.  It had 218 km on it.

  8. I just bought a 2008 Yamaha FZ6.  The MSRP is $6,999, it was on sale for $6,499.

They, of course, wanted to tack on about $1,000 worth of delivery, handling, assembly, etc. charges, so I offered $6,499 + tax.  They agreed and it came out less than MSRP.
