30? I want to get a job on one but I'm 38. This is really important to me, thankyou in advance.

  1. Yes, we have seen many..... They are much more mature acting than the younger ones. Good Luck...


  2. I started work as cruise staff ( running games and dj'ing) on Holland America's

    MS Noordam at age 36.  I will be going back to work for them in the same position, different ship in 4 weeks.  I am now 40.

  3. Yes, there are crew memebers of all ages.  I just got back from a NCL cruise and our Butler was in his 40's.  Two of the girls in the spa have worked on the ship for 8 years, they were in their late 30's.  

    A man who ran the little Java Cafe was in his 50's.  

    Age really isn't an issue.

We went on our cruise and most of the people we saw were over 30 and up.  Our cabin steward was probably in his late 40's and said that he could make great money that way to give his kids a good life.  And our waiter at our table was probably at least 60.  so good luck to you and have fun.  what a great way to see the world.

  5. Yes, I have been on many! There is people that are older than 30. check out www.carnival.com, they did have employment opportunities tab onthere. Good Luck , I am jealous!!!

  6. Yes.  In fact, there were a lot of servers in the dining room that were older than that.  Some considerably.  This was on two different Fantasy class ships on Carnival.

  7. plenty of peolpe. the persons{2} in charge were like 35 and 45. so get and interview! Hope u can get the job
