  1. A meeting with YOU is ACCIDENTAL. This is the right answer for all time.

  2. Nobody can be at the wrong place, at the wrong time.  It may look like one can be at the right place, at the right time but that is only a part of the manifestation.  On one level we cannot get anything wrong and we cannot get it completely done,  It only looks that way from close up or from the point of view of the small picture.  That right, from my point of view ``destiny`` in its normal definition is an imaginary idea which does not exist.  Cheers!

  3. ...$heit Happens and roll with the punches but not destiny...an individual is responsible for his/her words, thoughts and actions...

...and scores when in the right place and right time..."...JACKPOT"...

    ...thanks for asking...

  4. BigSky 5 - wow - deep answer.

But I guess you would have to believe in destiny if sometimes good things happen when you least expect them.  But then again it can be bad things happening, which we all hope they don't.

  5. It means that, despite a statistical improbability, you are in a position to take action when opportunity presents itself.  The statistical improbability makes people think that such an occurence was "destined", but improbable does not mean impossible.  It simply means unlikely.

Suppose I have two oxygen atoms in a very large enclosed space.  Let's observe them for a set amount of time, say a single day.  Now, in that day they MIGHT collide and form an oxygen molecule.  But they most likely won't.  If they do they are simply in the right place at the right time.  It probably won't happen, but if it does there is nothing pre-ordained about it at all.  It is simply overcoming a statistical improbability.

  6. coincidence

  7. you got lucky.

  8. Because I believe in destiny, I was at the right place at the right time to answer this question. If everything is an accident then there IS NO right and wrong. No RIGHT place no RIGHT time. In that case it means I was somewhere and it proved advantageous to me (in the short run.)

In other words what does DESTINY mean if you don't believe in it?
