  1. Coffee and tea all count as water if you are following a weight loss program so therefore the answer it yes.

  2. Hmm... good question. I personally don't think it's considered drinking a glass of water; rather diluted coffee. You could pretty much say the same thing if you added a cup's worth of ice cubes to a drink and let it melt.

  3. No!!  That would be too easy.  Water is the liquid that makes coffee coffee, just like it's the liquid that makes urine urine (gross!!!)  You don't get the needed benefit of water unless its straight water.  Not coffee, not Pepsi, not tea, not lemonade.  Also to consider is that several of the drinks you mentioned contain caffeine which, combined with water, is a diuretic which makes you LOSE liquid from your body, not maintain it, which is the opposite of what one of water's main benefits! :-)

  4. no way, it's filled with coffee which is caffeine, so unhelthy, just drink water.

  5. Yes you would have drank a glass of water, but the coffee in it will dehydrate you a bit so you will need to drink some more water to make up the difference.

  6. they aren't exactly mutually exclusive.  You are drinking both.  Water and Coffee.

  7. I think it's still considered coffee. Because your still adding it. Only way you can say is that you drank water is if you drank water. (:
