It's their choice, right? Does it really matter why?

  1. There is more to it than that.  For example, do you agree with 9 month abortion (partial-birth abortion)?  When you strangle a living baby within the womb just before its born is that murder or should it be allowed simply because its still "in the womb"?

While I agree that abortion is a necessary evil, there does come a point when the baby should be taken into consideration.  For example, after ones first trimester, I believe it moves from a fetus to a baby.  That way one has 3 months to decide if they should have an abortion.  After that, you gave up your right to chose.

Thats my take on it, at least.

  2. I think abortion is a women's choice; if she was raped or forced into s*x against her will and does not want a baby and will not be able to give the baby a good life or if she is too young it's better to get rid of it.

  3. Yes that's right. Why would I want to stick my nose in and rule over someone elses life when it has nothing to do with me.

  4. It's the law, and it is the way it should be. Forcing women into illegal activities like back-alley abortions they can't get legally is counter-productive. They have their reasons - we may not like them, and I will not judge on that.

However, I will judge if you've been drinking or speeding. Have you had anything to drink tonight ma'am?

  5. It shouldn't matter why, but some people are trying to change that.

  6. Like a poster above, I do not believe in abortion beyond 12 weeks, no matter the situation. Regardless of rape or incest- after that 12th week, no go. Partial birth is an atrocity. An absolute atrocity. These people are calamities.

The only, only only viable reasons to abort past week 12 are- the child is incompatible with life. No brain, spina bifida, etc.

Or, the mother will die if she continues to carry the child.

Some people abort to maintain a beach body. Those people failed at life.

  7. Feminists fought for a woman's right to abort for any reason, including s*x selection or a planned vacation.

  8. That's exactly my problem with it. As it stands you don't even have to have a reason. For me abortion is a "necessary evil" but it pisses me off when its casually done.

  9. While I sympathize with the conditions that are often a factor leading up the choice of abortion I fail to see how destroying life is empowering to any female.  Instead of demanding support for teen moms and working mothers and putting in legal protection for women in these difficult situations, "choice" rhetoric is used to convince women to murder the children that are growing inside them.  It's ridiculous that a society as wealthy as ours can not support even the poorest single moms who end up in tough pregnancy situations and feminists should be ashamed that they've let mostly male doctors and lawyers convince them that they should relinquish control of their bodies to butchers rather than trying to preserve life.  It is a sign of our society at its most wasteful when we put human life into the blender.

  10. That's how it stands now.
