If you apply mascara on fake eyelashes can you re-use them?

If you are wearing fake eyelashes and you put mascara on them, can you re-use the fake eyelashes? I also heard that you can actually wash them in warm water is that true?

No your not suppose to put mascara on fake lashes. You put mascara on your real lashes then put your fake ones on to blend them in and make them look more natural. Putting mascara on your fake lashes damages them and you won't be able to re use them much. Washing fake lashes damages them. I Don't recommend it.

u can clean up false lashes, with makeup remover wipes, u  have to be very gentle. place ur lashes hold the top where u put the glue and wipe the lashes going downwards (like ur combing ur lashes) then let them dry

sometimes i dont do that, i just use them again and again using an eye lash curler so i dont have to apply mascara everytime, but a little bit of mascara on my real lashes ..

if u want to go natural and simple i'd say dont apply mascara, just curl ur lashes (heat the curler a little bit)

or u can get 2 sets of lashes 1 for natural look the other for a heavy evening look .. !!

yes you can...but dont just try and wash them..use eyemakeup remover and a cotton ball and clean it off first THEN use a little warm water to clean the makeup remover off. dont pull though cause it will ruin them.  I wouldn't recommend doing it more than once though. And to the person who said "why would you wear mascara on false lashes" YOU ALWAYS SHOULD. it keeps your lashes together with the fake ones so your eyes look like ONE. not like they're everywhere.  IDK....i've been doing makeup for about 8 years now and these are some of the things i've done for myself! not for anyone else...never use lashes you've used on yourself on others...not good. :) I hope i helped.

Yes! All you have to do is clean them with antibacterial soap and let them dry.

Grab some tweezers and pull off the extra glue

&&

Grap a q-tip and just go over them two times with alcohol to make sure they are clean!

Mascara on fake eyelashes can ruin the lashes.  You should put mascara on your own lashes before applying the fake lashes :)  I dont recommend putting mascara on fake lashes coz i did once and it just completely ruined them and ruined the shape of them and i had to throw them away :(

You can re-use lashes..peel them off and use tweezers to peel off the extra glue off them.

You can "wash" your fake lashes to... use a qtip and some makeup remover gently on them first and then soak them in a cup of warm water.
