If you are 18-21, who inspires you to vote?

This is the first time that you will be eligible to vote for President. Who do you like? What are you looking for in a presidential candidate?

I'm 27 and have always read or heard the baby boomers talk about how great listening to JFK was with a great amount of envy.  They had a charismatic, young man to inspire them to give a little part of them for their country.  Today (I think) we are beginning to see the same types of leadership from Barack Obama.  I need charisma; both John Kerry and Al Gore were pretty blah for me because they didn't say anything (literally walking airbags).  Obama is different, I just feel good about myself and my country when I hear him: his international background, his community organizing in a rough area of Chicago, his concern for the social equity of this country.  I just can't say the other candidates inspire me to the same degree.

I think that having President Bush as leader of our country should inspire EVERYONE to vote.  I am a little older than 21 and have already voted before, but for what I am seeing so far, I agree with Obama's views best I would say.  I believe that everyone who is eligible to vote should do their research and make an informed decision.  What I look for in a president is someone whose views are most like mine in the topics discussed and also someone who has a good sense about him/her.

Im 18, a full time college student, and my mom and sister inspires me to vote. I want to vote so my mom will have social security when she retires or when my sister will have enough money to go to college. I would love to see either Barack Obama or Ron Paul in the White House. I'm looking for a president that don't lie and only care about their  well-being. I want a president that will help poverty in this country and affordable health care for people.
